I chose to do the 5 parts of speech for my concept map. It is important for people to know the right way to speak english. The 5 parts of speech: noun, verb, preposition, adverb, and adjective are the basic part of the english language. My concept map shows what the purpose of each part of speech is and what function they carry out. Concept maps will be helpful to reley information in a way that student can visual see and will help them understand the information better.

Introduction

My name is Evan Nichelson.  I am from Picayune.  I am majoring in special education.  My goal is to teach and coach.  Currently I am an assistant baseball coach at Picayune and do some paraprofessianal work and substitute teach at the high school.  The choice to major  in special education did not come straight to me.  After playing ball at PRCC for a while I was not too sure if I wanted to coach.  I was asked to help coach shortly after leaving PRCC and decide to pursue a career in coaching high school baseball.  I chose special education for the simple reason I believe we are here to help people, not to mention I am horrible in math and science.  I chose the high school level because I think this is when people are given roots and are shaped and molded into who they are deep down.  Some of the things I enjoy to do are hunting, fishing, softball, and pretty much anything outdoors.  I am a Christian and try my best to be the best I can be, but I fall short everyday.  I try to be laid back and easy going and most the time I am.  This computer stuff sometimes gets the best of me, but I am going to tackle it the best I can.  I think that technology is a useful way to learn new things and to get information out.
